IVF-weary CORY struggles to accept that her infertility journey is going nowhere, whilst her zoologist researcher sister is about to lose her job. It’s only in the depths of their desperation that these sisters are forced to unite, create the positive result they both desire, and possibly save the amphibian apocalypse at the same time.

WRITER: Rebecca Crookshank

Rebecca’s autobiographical first play WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT, published by Bloomsbury, received its international premiere on 42nd Street, New York and was shortlisted for a Liberty Human Rights Arts Award and nominated for four Broadway World Awards. Her screenwriting has been fuelled by two British Council artistic residencies in Vietnam and a development deal with Sky Drama. She is currently developing a slate of international projects including a UK/Vietnam action film THE RED RIVER with BFI Vision Awardee Jude Goldrei at Lunar Lander Films and an original T V series with Cameron Roach at Rope Ladder Fiction and the BBC. Adaptation work includes the stage adaptation of Craig Zobel’s 2012 film, COMPLIANCE in New York, a contemporary screen version of THE BASH STREET KIDS with Emanata (formerly BEANO Studios) and the T V adaptation of THE EMPRESS OF PLEASURE entitled CARLISLE HOUSE, co-written with Jessica Norman and Ruby Rock Pictures. Rebecca is an alumni of BAFTA Crew 21-22, Old Vic 12. and currently part of the founding cohort of BAFTA Connect 22-25. As a recent guest resident at Alserkal Arts Foundation in the UAE she is expanding her visual arts practice and unwriting new spaces. Her first short film ALEX A AND ME was official selected for BAFTA qualifying film festivals and nominated for Best Comedy


DIRECTOR: Sophie King

Sophie’s narrative work has been screened at BAFTA and Oscar qualifying festivals globally and can be viewed on Amazon Prime Video, Curzon Home Cinema, BFI Player and Apple T V+. Her directing has been praised by the likes of Time Out, The Guardian and The Times and she is a member of the BAFTA Connect career development scheme. Her focus is on telling darkly comedic tales that pack a punch. Sophie has recently directed TV pilot DISABILITY BENEFITS for Channel 4 starring Rosie Jones, now on All4, which won Best Newform Drama Series at the C21 International Drama Awards 2022. Her super 8 Straight8 comedy made with Merman won the Audience Award at Cannes Lions 2022. Sophie directed the second series of BUFFERING, a 6 part scripted comedy for IT V with Avalon Television starring Iain Stirling, now available on IT V2 and IT VX. Sophie is the 2023 Edinburgh T V Fest New Voices scripted director winner, and has just finished comedy drama short DOES YOUR CONDOM MAKE YOU FAT? about gender inequality in contraception funded by Panavision and Girls in Film. Next year she will direct a 6-part new series for Channel 4.

Megan is a Sussex-based member of BAFTA Connect and an award-winning producer for theatre and film for Double Yellow Productions. Short films include  BUSY (2025), ROBOT LADY (2025), I CALLED YOU (2023), SURGEONS (2021) and BEST FRIENDS (2020).  Plays include: GIRL ON GIRL (The King’s Head Theatre 2019),  BOURNE’ (Vault Festival 2020) and LADYBIRDS (The Lion and Unicorn 2021)
